Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reserve side continued their flawless start to the new campaign, comfortably beating Stockport County at Moss Lane to make it three wins from three in the Manchester Senior Cup.

United dominated proceedings from the outset, and Will Keane opened the scoring midway through the first half from the penalty spot. Despite the Reds creating numerous chances, a combination of some wayward finishing, intervention from the woodwork and heroics from Hatters’ keeper Owain Fon Williams kept the visitors in the game deep into the second half, the three points only really being secured when sub John Cofie struck his first goal for the reserves with quarter of an hour remaining,

John Cofie has all the assets to make it at United. Strong fast can hold of a challenge. Great to see him make the step up to the Reserves.
Take is goal with a natural finisher and also during his time on the Park clip the crossbar.
Agreed United woud have run out solid winners, apart from that Stockport keeper. He was awesome. I think we released him!?
The lads did good 9 out of nine. A solid start.

I think it is not fair to brong the big prospects from Italy and let them lot in Man U environment. I would be happy if i see the Italian contingent at Old Trafford make it big but i think there is no room for them at the moment. Where is Petrucci and Massaci, Fornisier who were branded as the best Italian sensation? Not seen them in either curling cup, why? Somthin is going wrong about the Italian at Man U. wHY suffocating Macheda when the boy has all the quallities to be the best of his generation. Please Sir Alex, give the young guns a chance. I think Vermijl really needs a game at the top. Vermijl vs Rafael for Right Back, the best young right bakcs in Europe i think in so little time. Man U til i die.

Erm, Petrucci is injured and has been since January. Massacci only made his comeback for the Under-18s on Saturday after being out injured since February. Fornasier has only just turned 17. Vermijl has just made his first reserve appearance! Come on now.
