Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Reserves got back to winning ways in sensational style at Moss Lane this evening, a brace apiece for Magnus Eikrem and Joshua King handing the Reds an emphatic 4-0 victory over last season’s champions Sunderland.

The frustrating defeat against Liverpool last time out asked a few questions of this United second string, but early dominance suggested answers would soon be forthcoming. Eikrem’s 9th minute freekick got the Reds up and running, and he added another great strike from distance just after the half-hour to sandwich a cool finish from fellow Norwegian Joshua King and hand his side a 3-0 half-time advantage. The irrepressible King added a fourth goal ten minutes from time, ensuring a scoreline that truly reflected his team’s superiority.

Shesh: EVeryone looks good on youtube.

He shows glimps of what he can do, but nothing more. He does’nt seem to be able to dominate even in the reserves. I’m afraid he wont cut it for UNited.

why petrucci doesnt play in neither of teams?

    and have we signed fornasier?

don’t know why petrucci is missing from the teamsheet every week. would be nice to see him up there with macheda and wellbeck in the carling cup this season.

as for fornasier, i believe i read something about us registering him as a united player around a week ago.

it should be up on the official website.

one player i’m really looking forward to see in the red shirt is adem ljajic. i believe he will make a big impact and develope into a great player, he’s absolutely not another zoran tosic who for me does’nt quite cut it at this level.

alltogheter, the future looks really really exciting…

now let’s give sunderland a real whopping!! =)

Come on guys, the Petrucci question gets answered nearly every week when somebody asks it, it’s getting really tiresome having to constantly address it! He’s recovering from injury problems related to growth issues (affecting his hips/groin). Talk was of an October return so hopefully he’ll be back pretty soon.

Think I maybe need to add that to the banner or something…

Tosic is not that gud…with the likes of Nani valencia…and in coming january may be ljajic, it would be quite difficult for him to break..
for the match…Sunderland was no match for United….United outrunned them on every part of the field…The third goal by Eikrem was gud…It reminded me of Beckham halfway line goal when he was young…he has really good sight of passing ball..And the first goal by free kick was gud too….United might would have scored a dozen goals…I am waiting for Rafael to play…its been a long time for him…it would be really gr88 to again see him play for the right back…

Yeah, cause Nani and Valencia are really setting the place on fire at the minute…
