Academy fixture falls victim to the weather

Posted by nickogs20 on February 7, 2009

This morning’s U18 fixture between United and Blackburn Rovers has been postponed due to the pitches at the Reds’ Carrington training ground being frozen and deemed too dangerous to play on.

The game will be arranged for a date later in the season, with February 28th or April 11th the most likely choices.

Is it possible to go and see the games at Carrington or does it remain the fortress it looks standing on the outside unable to see inside?

On match days it is open to everyone.
