Academy statistics in player profiles are for Academy League and FA Youth Cup games only.
The ‘Joined Club’ date in player profiles refers to the date a player signed trainee forms with the club (In most cases these players will have been affiliated to the club for a number of years previously, but it is hard/impossible to find out exact dates) or, if they joined later than the standard date for new trainees of their age group, the date of their transfer.
